Gov. Nikki Haley announces 2012 Governor’s Professor of the Year awards

Haley recognizes USC Sumter’s Dr. Hendrikus E. van Bulck, The Citadel’s Dr. Conway F. Saylor
COLUMBIA, SC – March 1, 2012 – Governor Nikki Haley and Commission on Higher Education Chairman KenWingate today recognized two outstanding professors at the Statehouse asDr. Hendrikus E. van Bulck, from the University of South CarolinaSumter, and Dr. Conway F. Saylor, from The Citadel, were announced as winners of the 2012 Governor’s Professor of the Year awards.

Dr.Bulck is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at theUniversity of South Carolina Sumter who joined the division of BusinessAdministration and Economics in the fall of 2006 as a fulltime facultymember.
Dr. Saylor is a Professor of Psychology at The Citadel and is boardcertified in both Clinical Psychology and in Clinical Child andAdolescent Psychology.
Selected from a total of 34 candidatesnominated by their respective institutions, the recipients of thisprestigious award exemplify excellence in teaching and student advising.
