Granola Baked Cinnamon Apples

 Granola, cinnamon, apples, and maple syrup – YUM!

 

    • Nonstick cooking spray
    • 2 Apples, washed and dried (Gala apples in picture)
    • Pinch of cinnamon.
    • 2 tbsp. fruit and nut granola
    • 2 tbsp. pure maple syrup – See more at:

Directions:

 

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Spray a shallow baking pan with cooking spray. (Glass or metal pan)
    3. Core apples. Slice top of apples and discard.
    4. Place apples in baking pan and stuff holes with granola mix.
    5. Sprinkle cut side of apple with cinnamon powder.
    6. Bake for 30 minutes until tender.
    7. Remove from oven and cut apples in half.
    8. Drizzle with maple syrup.
    9. Serve warm.
