Greenville Area Parkinson Society promotes Kamber Parker

The Greenville Area Parkinson Society (GAPS) has named Kamber Parker its interim executive director while the nonprofit looks for a permanent hire to fill the position.

Parker has been the organization’s Development Director since 2020, and before that she was Associate Director from 2018-2020. A Furman University graduate, Parker is heavily involved in the community. She served on the Greenville Chamber Young Professionals’ Advisory Council for the past two years as the Pacesetters Chair, and was a Multiplying Good ChangeMakers Participant in 2021. In addition, she serves as a Furman University Business Mentor, and as a Kappa Delta Sorority Advisory Council Member. She also is a board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and a Meals on Wheels Young Professionals Member.
