Greenville Area Parkinson Society’s Kamber Parker named Young Professional of the Year

The Greenville Area Parkinson Society’s interim Executive Director Kamber Parker has been named Young Professional of the Year by the Greenville Chamber.
Parker has been the Greenville Area Parkinson Society’s (GAPS) Development Director since 2020, and before that she was Associate Director from 2018-2020. A Furman University graduate, Parker is heavily involved in the community. She served on the Greenville Chamber Young Professionals’ Advisory Council for the past two years as the Pacesetters Chair and was a Multiplying Good ChangeMakers Participant in 2021. In addition, she serves as a Furman University Business Mentor, and as a Kappa Delta Sorority Advisory Council Member. She also is a board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and a Meals on Wheels Young Professionals Member.
“This recognition is such an honor. I have been fortunate to be a young professional in a community like Greenville. Because of this city, GAPS, and the Greenville Chamber,” said Parker. “I have been exposed to people and opportunities I could have never imagined.”
