Greenville Attorney joins SC Bar Foundation to Advance Justice

GREENVILLE, SC – July 15, 2013 – The South Carolina Bar Foundation welcomes Chet Chea to its board of directors. As a member of the board, Chea will be working with the Bar Foundation to advance justice to all South Carolina citizens through the outreach programs and services offered by the nonprofit’s 18 grant organizations.

Chea is director of supplier diversity and small business development at Michelin North America, Inc. headquartered in Greenville.

Chea received his BS in microbiology from Clemson University and his Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.  He began his career serving as a white-collar crimes prosecutor with the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office in Greenville County. Prior to his current role at Michelin, he served as corporate counsel where he provided legal counsel to the company’s purchasing department and real estate group.  He also served as senior discovery advisor in Michelin’s litigation group.
