Greenville Chamber announces staff promotions

The Greenville Chamber has promoted two individuals: Liz Horton (left) has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Jennifer Powell (right) to Executive Assistant and Director of Administrative Services.Since first joining the Greenville Chamber in 2016, Liz Horton has served as Senior Vice President. In her new role as Chief Operating Officer, Horton will take on additional managerial responsibilities, while leading internal operations and working closely with community leaders and Chamber Investors. Horton has more than 20 years of experience in the Chamber of Commerce industry. In 2012, Horton graduated from the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management earning her IOM designation, and in 2014, she received the designation of Certified Chamber Executive of the Carolinas (CCEC).

Jennifer Powell has been promoted to Executive Assistant and Director of Administrative Services. Powell has held various roles with the Greenville Chamber throughout her 20 year tenure. In her new role, Powell will lead the Greenville Chamber’s administrative services team and support its senior team.
