Greenville County and Greenville County Redevelopment Authority announce food and nutritional, medical, and small business assistance

As a part of the Federal CARES Act, communities around the County received federal funds to assist residents to prevent, prepare for and respond  to the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19).  Greenville County and the Greenville County Redevelopment Authority are pleased to announce they have awarded Community Development Block Grant – COVID (CDBG – CV) grants to several agencies to provide food and nutritional, medical, and small business assistance to eligible Greenville County residents who have been impacted by the Coronavirus Pandemic. Funds become available on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Assistance will be available on a first come first serve basis until the funds are exhausted.   All applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be a resident of Greenville County (including residents in the City Limits of Greer and Fountain Inn that extend past the Greenville County border).
  2. Meet household income qualifications
  3. Prove that your household has been impacted financially by COVID-19
