Greenville County Schools held annual marching band exhibition at Mauldin High

More than a thousand student musicians from across the district took the field in the Golden Strip on Saturday, Sept. 19, as Mauldin High School hosted the Greenville County Schools Annual Marching Band Exhibition.
The free community event brought together all 15 Greenville County high school marching bands for an evening dedicated to showcase routines and professional evaluation. Designed as a non-competitive exhibition, the annual event gave local band directors, drum majors, and student performers the opportunity to present their halftime and competition shows before an audience and receive constructive feedback ahead of the fall competitive season.
Spectators, families, and band alumni filled the stadium stands for the performances, which kicked off at 4 p.m.
The evening concluded with a signature mass-band finale, bringing more than 1,200 student musicians together on the field to perform a joint rendition of “America the Beautiful”.
