Southerlin Family Eye Care welcomed community at yesterday’s open house
GREENVILLE, SC – January 19, 2011 – Local optometrist Stephanie Southerlin opened the doors of Southerlin Family Eye Care yesterday with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting at her new office in the Woodruff Road Professional Park. Mauldin mayor Don Godbey and Chamber of Commerce representatives helped welcome the new business and kick off the grand opening event.

Southerlin Family Eye Care offers a full range of optometric services for all ages, including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens care and eye allergies. With the national recognition of January as Glaucoma Awareness Month, Dr. Southerlin encourages patients to schedule an eye exam, which includes glaucoma screening on the office’s state-of-the-art equipment.

With more than seven years experience at a local retail eye center, Dr. Southerlin is an honors graduate of Clemson University and earned her degree from the Southern College of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association and the Piedmont Optometric Society.
