Dr. Pelicano joins the practice under the leadership of Dr. Kevin P. Lewis, D.C., founder of Greenville Spine Institute, four-time Best Chiropractor of the Upstate, and South Carolina Chiropractor of the Year.
For more than fifteen years, Greenville Spine Institute has set the standard for expert chiropractic care in the region—integrating precise chiropractic technique, advanced diagnostics, progressive rehabilitation, and nutrition-based support to help patients achieve lasting outcomes. The addition of Dr. Pelicano reflects GSI’s continued commitment to clinical excellence, mentorship, and patient-centered care.

A Shared Foundation of Service and Precision
Both Dr. Lewis and Dr. Pelicano share backgrounds rooted in service, discipline, and leadership. Prior to entering healthcare, each served with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, an experience that shaped their approach to responsibility, integrity, and care for the community.
Dr. Pelicano earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Sherman College of Chiropractic, where he completed extensive training in the Gonstead Methodology and served as a Gonstead Club member and instructor. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Clemson University, reinforcing his integrative approach to musculoskeletal health and wellness.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Pelicano launched a wellness practice focused on chiropractic care and functional nutrition. That experience strengthened his appreciation for the value of mentorship, infrastructure, and collaborative clinical environments—elements that define Greenville Spine Institute.
