Swing into Summer with Greenville Rec Clinics

June 3, 2026

Summer camps are in full swing in the City of Greenville, and but newly added summer clinics for youth and adults promise to add to the fun.

The city’s Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department is accepting registrations for its inaugural youth and adult tennis and pickleball clinics at the McPherson Park courts. The new tennis and pickleball clinics run June 24 to July 29 and include junior tennis (ages 8-17), peewee tennis (ages 3-7), adult cardio tennis (18 and older), and an intermediate pickleball drill clinic for players of all ages.

The cost is $90 per program.

For those looking for some free activities for youths this summer, registration remains open for the Pitch, Hit & Run baseball skills competition on July 15. An official competition of Major League Baseball, this free event is open to children ages 7-14 at Mayberry Park. Volunteers are also needed for the event.

If your summer schedule is already full and you’re looking ahead to fall, registration for fall leagues opens June 30. The fall lineup includes youth soccer, track and cheer, as well as morning and evening adult pickleball leagues.
