Greenville Technical College Dean Michelle Byrd leads ACBSP as Board Chair

Michelle Byrd, dean of the School of Business and Computer Technology at Greenville Technical College, has been appointed 2023-24 chair of the board of directors for the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP is the first global body to accredit business, accounting, and business-related programs at all degree levels, and the first to offer certificate accreditation.
Byrd joined Greenville Technical College as a dean in 2016. She previously served as dean of Business and Computer Technology for Gaston College in Dallas, NC. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and received her MBA from the University of Phoenix. She serves on the board of directors for Junior Achievement and the Better Business Bureau Foundation and on the board of advisors for the Greenville Chamber.
