Greenville Technical College expects to return to face-to-face classes in the fall

May 11, 2020

In anticipation of the governor’s guidance, Greenville Technical College administrators expect to welcome students back in the fall with a return to the college’s wide range of course delivery formats. Those who prefer face-to-face classes will have plenty of courses from which to choose, and those more comfortable with online and hybrid formats will also have a multitude of options. Fall Semester classes will begin as scheduled on Monday, August 24.

Until then, summer classes have moved online to the maximum extent possible, with programs that require extensive hands-on skill-building beginning the summer online and meeting face-to-face in later weeks. While college offices remain closed, services are available online, and by phone and email. Summer classes begin on Friday, May 22.

Adventure TECH summer camps have also moved online. Camps in the areas of culinary, animal care, and game and app design are expected to be offered virtually with real-time personalized instruction. This is the third year that Adventure TECH summer camps are being offered to middle schoolers to introduce students to career pathways. The virtual camps will be held in July with details available soon.
