June 1, 2026In a landmark partnership for the Upstate arts community, two of the region’s prominent theatrical organizations are joining forces for an upcoming musical event. Greenville Theatre and the Mauldin Theatre Company have officially announced a joint co-production of Jesus Christ Superstar In Concert, set to hit the stage early next year. This special collaboration unites the two organizations to deliver a single, shared musical experience across two different regional venues.
Star-Studded Local Cast and Two-Venue Schedule
The concert production will feature prominent local talent in the lead roles, starring Aaron Davis as Jesus and Kristofer Parker as Judas. Promotional photography for the announcement was captured by local photographer Will Crooks.
Under the unique structure of the co-production, the show will travel between both venues over two consecutive weekends in January 2027:
-
Mauldin Theatre Company: January 15 – 16, 2027
