Greenville Triumph announce Chris Baretta as chief revenue officer

The Greenville Triumph today announced the hiring of Chris Baretta as the club’s chief revenue officer. Baretta comes to the club from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, where he served as a senior associate athletic director and adjunct professor.

Prior to his time at North Texas, Baretta served as the assistant athletic director in charge of ticket sales and revenue at The Citadel. Baretta previously worked for FC Dallas and the Seattle Sounders of Major League Soccer, as well as the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks. He was named MLS Sales Executive of the Year in 2014.

“Chris has significantly and successfully grown ticket and sponsorship revenue throughout his career,” said Triumph President Chris Lewis. “In his role with the Triumph, Chris will be creating great fan experiences while growing partnerships with the business community and developing personalized opportunities for groups and sponsors. We are incredibly excited to have him lead our sales team.”

Baretta attended USC Upstate where he played midfield on the men’s soccer team from 2001-2005. During his time with the Spartans, he was named First Team All-Conference.
