Greenville Women Giving to host recruitment event featuring guest speaker Elizabeth Davis, Ph.D., President of Furman University

Greenville Women Giving, a local women’s collective philanthropic organization, will host “Each One, Bring One”, a special event for its members and women of the community who are either interested in learning about or are considering membership in Greenville Women Giving. The event will include guest speaker Elizabeth Davis, Ph.D., President of Furman University and GWG member. Greenville Women Giving is entering into its 11th year and second decade of giving within Greenville County in five major areas.

Membership in Greenville Women Giving is open to all women who commit to an annual contribution of $1,200 for three years. The organization hosts several membership and educational events through each season.

WHEN: Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

WHERE: Melvin and Dollie Younts Conference Center at Furman University (3300 Poinsett Highway, Greenville, SC 29613)

WHO: Greenville Women Giving, a women’s collective giving organization, was created as a special initiative of the Community Foundation in 2006. GWG is committed to improving the lives of Greenville County residents by awarding high-impact grants in five areas: the arts, education, environment, health and human services. Membership in Greenville Women Giving is open to all women who commit to the annual contribution.
