Greenville Women Giving opens grant application process

October 5, 2022

Greenville Women Giving (GWG), a women’s collective giving organization serving Greenville County, will begin accepting grant applications on November 1, 2022. GWG seeks to fund non-profit organizations within Greenville County that have the potential for high impact and significant positive change in the areas of Arts, Education, Environment, Health, and Human Services.

GWG members believe that a strong community requires strong programs and services in a variety of sectors. Therefore, GWG awards at least one grant in each of its five areas of focus. Grants awarded in 2023 will range from $50,000 to $100,000 and are required to be completed in either a one-year or two-year term.

Applications are available online at greenvillewomengiving.org/grants. Grant guidelines, application instructions and frequently asked questions are also available on the GWG website. The deadline for submission is November 28, 2022, at midnight. Grants will be awarded in May 2023.

Organizations interested in learning more about the application process are encouraged to attend an on-site training session on Thursday, October 20 at Coldwell Banker Caine, 111 Williams St., Greenville, SC 29601. They are also encouraged to watch a grantee information video that will be available online beginning October 27. Both new and returning grant applicants are encouraged to attend the live session and view the video. Questions should be submitted to [email protected].
