Greenville Zoo Celebrates Halloween With Boo in the Zoo

Festivities include children’s trick-or-treating and an unhaunted house

GREENVILLE, SC – October 13, 2010 – The Greenville Zoo will host itsannual Boo in the Zoo, a family-friendly Halloween event for childrenages 12 years old and under.

The event will feature trick-or-treating, fun-filled booths and anunhaunted Boo in the Zoo will offer zoo members only nights October 15and October 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Admission prices for zoo members are $4 for children and free foradults. The event will be open to the general public October 16-17 andOctober 23-24 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission prices for the generalpublic are $5 for children and $3 for adults. Credit cards will not beaccepted for this event; cash or checks only. Children must beaccompanied by an adult, and everyone is invited to come in costume.For safety reasons, attendees are asked not to bring plastic pumpkins,Halloween bags or sacks. The Greenville Zoo will supply special treatbags for children.
