Greenville Zoo Foundation announces new Board Members

The Greenville Zoo Foundation announces a new Director of Operations & Engagement, the addition of 7 board members and the election of board officers for 2025. The Greenville Zoo Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that serves as an independent community outreach group, whose purpose is to provide financial, resource and advocacy support for the needs of the Greenville Zoo.

Lindsay Tucker has been promoted to Director of Operations and Engagement. In this role, Tucker manages the daily business operations of the Greenville Zoo Foundation; coordinates communication and information flow among and between the Foundation’s key stakeholders: board members, Zoo and City management, and consultants; and oversees engagement initiatives.

New Board Members:

Stacey Bradshaw is a retired real estate agent and currently serves on the Diaconate at First Presbyterian Church.

Michael Mount is a Trauma and Critical Care Surgeon at Spartanburg Medical Center, where he also serves as Program Director of the General Surgery Residency program.

Bryan Riddick is a Project Manager at Associated Materials. Riddick recently obtained his MBA and Business Analytics Certificate and serves on the Christ Church Episcopal Preschool Parent Advisory Board.

Angela Rodriguez is the Owner and Broker in Charge of Encore Realty. Rodgriguez also serves as treasurer of  the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors.

Laurie Staub is a Capacity Building Consultant focusing on marketing, communications, engagement, fundraising and philanthropy. Staub was part of the development team that orchestrated the revitalization of the Bronx Zoo.

Alison Storm manages marketing efforts for The Children’s Museum of the Upstate, assisting with fundraising events, social media, and more. After serving as a board member, Storm recently began leading marketing efforts for Set Free, Greenville-based nonprofit drilling wells in Africa and India and caring for hundreds of children rescued from slavery in India.

Dorothy Dowe (City Council Liaison) is Vice Mayor Pro Tem and At Large City Council Representative for the City of Greenville. Dowe is also the City Council liaison to the Greenville Transit Authority, the Greenville Downtown Airport and serves as the Mayor’s appointment to the Visit Greenville SC Board of Directors.

2025 Board Officers:

Taryn Scher- The Sparkle Boss of TK PR- will serve as Chairman of the Board for 2025. Scher has served on the Greenville Zoo Foundation Board since 2022 and previously served as Chairman of the Board of the Clemson Small Business Development Center and Euphoria.

Jake Wanner is the Public Sector Account Executive at KeyMark and is Vice Chair for 2025.

Gail Depriest is a senior lecturer and Clemson MBA Director of Corporate Relations & Executive Leadership and the Greenville Zoo Foundation Immediate Past Chair.

Emory Hendrix Jr, AAMS is a financial wealth advisor at Crescent Wealth Management and  has served as treasurer for the Greenville Zoo Foundation since 2024.

Eric Morris is Professor of City and Regional Planning at Clemson University and Secretary of the Greenville Zoo Foundation.
