Grimball Reelected as President of ABVI Board

August 8, 2016

The Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired-Charleston (ABVI) is pleased to announce that Capers Grimball will be serving her second term as president of the board. Capers has served on the board for many years and has been a strong leader of board governance as well as an asset to ABVI by offering professional guidance as a CPA. Capers works seasonally for the accounting firm of Elliott Davis, LLC.  She and her husband, Frank Grimball, have been in Charleston for the last 28 years and during that time she has been active in St Michael’s Church, the Junior League of Charleston, the Porter Gaud Parents Guild and Lowcountry Orphan Relief. Macular degeneration runs in her family and has thus given special meaning to serving on the board of The Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired-Charleston.
