GSP Airport welcomes new routes to Los Angeles, Harford, and Orlando with Breeze Airways

May 28, 2024

Just in time for summer, Breeze Airways is starting nonstop flights to Los Angeles (LAX), Orlando International (MCO), and Hartford (BDL) from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP). These new flights follow the recently introduced routes to Tampa (TPA) and Providence (PVD) earlier this month. With these additions, Breeze now offers five nonstop destinations from GSP.

Breeze Airways announced in February that it would begin operations at GSP starting on May 3, 2024, bringing “seriously nice”, convenient, and customer-focused travel experiences to Upstate travelers. Breeze’s new service to LAX, MCO, and BDL further enhances connectivity for both leisure and business travelers. The new route to Los Angeles is particularly significant as it marks the first time GSP will have a nonstop connection to the West Coast.

“The addition of these new routes, including our first nonstop flight to the West Coast, marks a significant milestone for GSP as we now offer the most nonstop destinations in our history and we expect to serve more travelers this year than ever,” said Dave Edwards, GSP’s President and CEO. “These new flights not only connect us to key destinations but will also bring visitors to the Greenville-Spartanburg area, boosting our local economy and showcasing all that our region has to offer.”

Breeze’s growth at our airport can be attributed to the strong demand for air travel in our region and the support of our valued community partners.
