GSP welcomes Breeze Airways

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) welcomes the arrival of Breeze Airways, marking the start of new service to the Upstate South Carolina region. The inaugural flight to Providence/Boston (PVD) took off today, bringing low fares and convenient travel options to the Greenville-Spartanburg region.

“Greenville-Spartanburg offers Breeze amazing opportunities for growth and we’re excited to bring five new routes to the community with more convenience and added affordability,” said Breeze Airways’ President Tom Doxey. “We know our Guests in GSP will enjoy the upgraded product experience that Breeze has to offer.”

In addition to Providence/Boston, Breeze plans to introduce new nonstop service to four more highly requested destinations, including the region’s first and only nonstop service to the West Coast. The initial route lineup includes:

  • Providence/Boston (T.F. Green International Airport – PVD) – service began today, May 3rd.
  • Tampa (Tampa International Airport – TPA) – service begins May 10.
  •   Los Angeles (Los Angeles International Airport – LAX) – service begins May 24.
  •  Hartford (Bradley International Airport – BDL) – service begins May 24.
  •  Orlando (Orlando International Airport – MCO) – service begins May 24.

Breeze becomes the seventh major airline serving GSP, and the first to offer nonstop flights to Los Angeles, Hartford, and Providence/Boston.
