GWB’s Gallivan Named Vice President of the National Foundation for Judicial Excellence

GREENVILLE, SC – August 9, 2011 – Gallivan White & Boyd PA is pleased to announce the election of H. Mills Gallivan as Vice President of the National Foundation for Judicial Excellence (NFJE). 

Based out of Chicago, the NFJE is a charitable organization dedicated to strengthening and preserving a fair civil justice system. As vice president, Gallivan will support the continued development of the NFJE’s core mission to provide educational programs and other tools that ensure judicial excellence and fairness.

Gallivan is senior shareholder at Gallivan White & Boyd and has more than 34 years of experience as a civil defense trial attorney, mediator and arbitrator. Previously, he has served as a member of NFJE’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee and has taken active leadership roles in many other professional and community organizations. His list of service includes: Director of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, President of the SCDTAA, Chairman of the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the South Carolina Bar Association, and Commissioner and Vice Chairman for City of Greenville Planning Commission. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America: Alternative Dispute Resolution and was recognized as the Best Lawyers’ 2010 Greenville Workers’ Compensation Lawyer of the Year. In addition, Mills is a South Carolina Super Lawyer: Alternative Dispute Resolution.
