Habitat ReStores to hold statewide fundraiser for hurricane relief

December 8, 2016

Habitat for Humanity ReStore locations statewide will donate a portion of their proceeds this weekend to benefit Hurricane Matthew relief.

On Saturday, December 10, ReStores will give 25 percent of gross sales to Habitat affiliates and Habitat families throughout the state that have experienced financial hardship as a result of Hurricane Matthew. ReStores will also be accepting cash donations toward this relief effort.

The Habitat ReStore supports the mission of Habitat for Humanity through the sale of new and gently used household appliances, furnishings, and building materials. All proceeds support Habitat’s home construction and homeowner education programs for low-income families.

Each ReStore is managed by the area Habitat affiliate. For information on local ReStore locations and operating hours, please contact your local Habitat affiliate.
