Hammer & Nails sells franchise rights for 83 new “Grooming Shops for Guys” in Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina

September 6, 2016

The rapid growth of the Hammer & Nails | Grooming Shop for Guys franchise continues with the recent sale of franchise rights in the Southeast to Michael ‘Mici’ Fluegge. As an Area Representative, Fluegge plans to sell and open 83 franchises in Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina.

Hammer & Nails | Grooming Shop for Guys is the first grooming franchise in the $21 billionmen’s grooming market that has a core focus on hand and foot grooming for men. Since launching franchise sales in January 2016, Hammer & Nails has sold over 200 licenses in 8 states.

Founder Michael Elliot opened the first Hammer & Nails in Los Angeles in 2013, on iconic Melrose Avenue. His vision was to create a unique destination where men can take care of their grooming without feeling uncomfortable or out of place. Today, business leaders from some of the most recognizable names in the health, wellness and beauty industries are part of the Hammer & Nails team, committed to building this brand across the US.

The Hammer & Nails concept features a distinctive “man cave nirvana” atmosphere; a proven multiple revenue stream business model that includes pedicures, manicures, barbering, straight-razor shaves and membership sales; world-class franchise support; and an executive team with more than 25 years of experience building, operating and growing national franchise concepts.

For close to a decade Fluegge has been involved in the oversight, management, or ownership of over 20 franchise locations from a couple of the most prominent health and wellness brands in the United States. When asked about his interest in Hammer & Nails, Fluegge says, “My wife and I saw Michael on Shark Tank in September of 2014 when the original show aired.  We thought ‘what a unique and very much needed concept this was’. Michael and I started to talk about me becoming an investor and Area Representative. The rest is history.”
