Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College welcomes diverse acts in sixth season

Stage, screen, circus performers, and blues legends – audiences can see it all with the package and pass options available now

The Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College (HT@MTC) sixth season gives audiences the opportunity to enjoy a lineup of shows that have each been chosen for their potential to inspire, intrigue, and entertain.

This season, HT@MTC welcomes the return of some audience favorites like the dancers of Pilobolus; newcomers like the gospel-blues greats Irma Thomas with the Blind Boys of Alabama and the Preservation Hall Legacy Quintet; in addition to some family-friendly performances like Flip FabriQue, a circus troupe from Quebec. Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College’s full sixth season includes 17 live performances and screen events ranging in genre, and it is packed full of opportunities for all ages.

On sale now, audiences will have the opportunity to mix and match their favorites from the lineup in order to create the Flex Pass, save their seats for the perennial sell-out S.C. Philharmonic Pops performances, or make sure they are front and center for the National Theatre Live (NTL On Screen) screenings. The Flex Pass

Purchase tickets to four or more shows and receive a 10% discount on each ticket! The pass can be split among any or all shows, and you may order up to 10 tickets per show. For instance, make a Flex Pass for family fun! Pops Package

Back for a new season, the South Carolina Philharmonic performs three concerts for just $90: British Invasion; the perennial sell-out Holiday Pops; and Wizards, Witches, and Fantastic Beasts. Purchase the package to reserve the same seats for every concert!

National Theatre Live Package (NTL On Screen)

Pioneers of “Cinematic Pop,” GENTRI’s music pulses with lush, epic orchestration and dynamic, three-part harmony. Known for producing thoughtful and deeply moving works, Ronald K. Brown is a multiple-award-and-fellowship-winning choreographer whose work has been featured on stages worldwide. New Classic Cinema: The Princess Bride

This 1980s classic takes the ingredients of a traditional fairytale – princes, villains, giants, magical creatures, sword fights, revenge, and brave rescues – and drenches them in clever humor. As familiar as the fairytale trappings will be the faces on the screen: Fred Savage, Robin Wright, Mandy Patinkin, Billy Crystal, and other Hollywood favorites comprise the excellent ensemble cast. The BreakWomb

NTL On Screen: Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead
