About James Garlington
A Greenville, SC native, James brings over 30 years of experience in the lawn and landscape industry. While attending Lander University, he worked for a local landscaping company, gaining valuable hands-on experience. After graduating in 1996, James started his own business, which he successfully owned and operated for 23 years, serving the Upstate of South Carolina. In 2019, James sold his business and became the Director of Grounds for Hartness Development, overseeing the community’s landscaping and outdoor maintenance needs. He now also serves as General Manager for ElectroScapes, bringing his extensive industry knowledge and leadership to both roles.
