CHARLESTON, COLUMBIA, FLORENCE, AND GREENVILLE, SC – April 15, 2008 – Twenty-four attorneys at Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A., have been recognized for inclusion in the South Carolina Super Lawyers™ magazine for 2008. Released on April 13, the inaugural SC issue named only 5% of South Carolina’s 8,759 active attorneys in South Carolina who met the indicators included in this listing.
The magazine features the results of an extensive rating service of the attorneys in the State based on 12 criteria of peer recognition and professional achievement including verdicts, settlements, transactions, experience, honors and awards, pro bono activity, scholarly lectures and writing, position within the law firm, bar activities, etc. The first issue of the magazine is being mailed to SC attorneys and to lead corporate counsel of Russell 3,000 U.S. companies as well as sent to ABA-accredited law school libraries. The magazine was also inserted into The New York Times (SC distribution) on Sunday, April 13.
