Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd’s Lisa R. Claxton joins the SC ILG Board of Directors

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd attorney Lisa R. Claxton has joined the South Carolina Industry Liaison Group Board of Directors.
SC ILG works to provide leadership, networking, communication and education to members in establishing and supporting standards of excellence in equal opportunity programs and affirmative action compliance.
Active in the community, Lisa serves on the Spartanburg Community College Foundation Board of Directors, as chair of the Spartanburg Interfaith Hospitality Network and is a volunteer mediator at the Upstate Mediation Center. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Spartanburg and a graduate of Leadership Spartanburg and the United Way of the Piedmont Nonprofit Fellows program.
Lisa’s practice is focused on advising businesses on complex employee relations issues. She represents businesses in employment litigation before federal, state and local regulatory agencies in matters involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, failure to accommodate and wrongful termination. Lisa is also experienced in governmental law, having established Spartanburg County’s first in-house legal department.
