Healthy Learners Announces Director of Research and Evaluation

COLUMBIA, SC – JULY 14, 2009 –  Healthy Learners is pleased to announce that Stephanie Ann Crovelli has accepted the position of director of research and evaluation, effective July 2009.

As director of research and evaluation, Stephanie is responsible for leadership, planning, developing and implementing research and evaluation measures to position and advance the organization’s mission through data analysis, interpretation, and synthesis in moving towards recognition as an evidence-based program.   

She received a Master of Public Health degree in International Health from New York Medical College, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  Prior to accepting this position, Stephanie owned and operated a health research consulting firm that specialized in community health needs assessments. She also brings extensive research and writing experience from her work with the Health and Safety Department at Consumer Reports magazine in Yonkers, New York. Her proven track record of success will be invaluable to Healthy Learners.

Stephanie’s community involvement included coaching and refereeing Colorado Youth Soccer and volunteering at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in New York.
