August 20, 2023

During the Clinton City Council meeting on August 7, Mayor Randy Randall took the opportunity to honor Reverend LeShown Goodwin and the entire Hebron Baptist Church congregation as they commemorated their 140th church anniversary.

Mayor Randall presented a Proclamation to Reverend Goodwin and the Hebron Baptist Church family, acknowledging the church’s steadfast commitment to serving the community and its enduring dedication to faith and spirituality. The Proclamation serves as a testament to the church’s role in fostering unity, compassion, and positive change in the lives of its members and the wider community.

Reverend Goodwin expressed gratitude for the church’s rich history and the achievements that have been made over the past 140 years. “As we celebrate our church’s 140th-year anniversary history, we thank God for the past achievements. We ask His continuous guidance and help so that we may dwell together in unity with love and peace, which is good and pleasant,” said Reverend Goodwin.
