Hello Weekend – What’s Going on in Laurens County

It’s the last weekend in August, how can that be?

Football season is in full gear and this week is the Laurens v. Clinton rivalry game. Checik out this week’s lineup and have a great weekend!

Thursday, August 26^th:

• PC Students Welcome Back Block Party – downtown Clinton from 6-8 pm.
• Palmetto Brothers is presenting Live Music with Karl Lauber inside the dispensary from 7 pm – 9 pm.

Friday, August 27^th:

• Friday night football schedule (all games start at 7:30 pm)
  • Laurens v. Clinton at Laurens
  • Laurens Academy – no game
• Sounds of Summer – Fountain Inn Commerce Park from 7:00-9:30 pm – The Night Affair Band
• Friday Night Live with Justin Corley. Justin Corley is a country-rock, Texas country inspired singer/songwriter from the small town of Saluda, South Carolina! He is up and coming in the Nashville Music Scene.
• Dining at local restaurants in Laurens, Clinton, Cross Hill, Fountain Inn and more!

Saturday, August 28^st:

• A recent edition to your Saturday market shopping is Lush Acres Farm, the farm store at Thornwell in Clinton (1875 W. Maple St. Extension) is open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. They are open from 8-4 on Saturday so check it out.
• Laurens Farmers Market – (8 am – 12 noon) Each week the farmers market gets better and better.  They will be set up on the Roma side of the Square so grab a coffee from the Coffee Roost and shop all the great deals at the farmers market.
• Fountain Inn Farmers Market – 110 Depot Street, Fountain Inn. Open from 8 am to noon.
• Shop local including some great stores in Laurens and Clinton.
• After a morning of shopping the farmers markets rest up and then head out to Palmetto Brewery for Blade & Bull Axe Throwing at 4:00 pm. The Axe Party Trailer service features 2 targets, lights, sound and of course professional coaches!
• If the weather permits, get outside and check out the hiking trails, canoeing areas and bike routes right here in Laurens County
• Live music with Jef Wilson, Saturrday night at Palmetto Brothers Dispensary from 7pm – 9pm.
