Hermosa Jewelry partners with I Love That For You to release first men’s jewelry line

Local business Hermosa Jewelry partners with Charleston’s first and only LGBTQ+ influencers, I Love That For You, to launch its first men’s jewelry line with the release of the I Love That For You mask chain collection.

The collection aims to overcome new challenges brought forth by the pandemic with the most convenient accessory of 2020 and inspired by the Texas roots of the local influencers, Michael and Ian Stettner-Palacios.

Hermosa Jewelry launched a successful, game-changing mask chain collection for women earlier this summer, offering a comfortable, lightweight and attractive solution for masks lost and forgotten when traveling to work, school or running daily errands. When not wearing a mask, it conveniently hangs around the neck as an attractive accessory.

“I’ve always wanted to create a men’s jewelry line, but I was not expecting it to happen in the middle of a pandemic,” said Haley Holzworth, owner of Hermosa Jewelry. “When Michael and Ian of I Love That For You reached out and asked if I made mask chains for men, I knew we should join forces on a collection that men would want to wear, focused on designing it with versatility in mind.”

The collection features five unique mask chains, all measuring 28 inches long and priced at $36 each. The design’s versatility allows the chains to adapt and hold glasses or sunglasses, or even worn as a chain necklace or wrap bracelet.

“We have both forgotten our mask in the car too many times to count, but when searching for a men’s mask chain, we were left empty-handed every time, said Michael Stettner-Palacios, Co-Founder and Co-Owner of I Love That For You, LLC. “When Haley asked us to design a collection at her studio, we jumped at the opportunity and ended up creating strong and simple pieces to wear in different ways.”

Each chain lends its name to well-known cities across Michael and Ian’s hometown state of Texas, selecting handpicked beads and chain styles to embody each Lone Star State location—Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Houston and Rockport.
