HHIMLS.com joins Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce

HHIMLS.com, South Carolina’s statewide Multiple Listing Service, announced it joined the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce, furthering its commitment to improving, promoting and protecting the Lowcountry.
A portion of HHIMLS’ annual $4 billion in real estate transactions is in the Lowcountry region, including Beaufort, so joining its business hub was a logical step for HHIMLS.
“The Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce focuses its efforts on several important pillars in our region,” said Colette Stevenson, chief executive officer of HHIMLS. “Their focus on leadership development, education and business advocacy resonates with us. We, too, want to make sure our members have the tools to make them the most knowledgeable leaders in the real estate markets we cover.”
HHIMLS began presenting MLS Pop-Up Shops™ in Beaufort earlier this year to accommodate its members in that market. MLS Pop-Up Shops range from workshops to free product education classes for members of HHIMLS that are delivered in various concentrated areas throughout the state, and offered as a convenient free benefit when joining the MLS.
Ginnette Lee, training and development manager for HHIMLS said typically, agents are busy meeting the demands of their clients, leaving little time for education and training.
“The thought of driving any distance to attend a training, CE Class or Workshop can prove to be quite daunting or even a non-event,” Lee said. “By offering a wide variety of valuable on location MLS Pop-Up Shop classes, workshops and product support, HHIMLS helps agents become more knowledgeable and efficient with tools they need to enhance their clients experience and overall success. Our vision, ‘When they need us, where they need us!’”
Stevenson said the Multiple Listing Service and the chamber are important partners when it comes to protecting the treasures of the Lowcountry.
