More about the Chili Fest

WCCC brings more than 200 teams from around the nation to compete in the event, which is sponsored by BUSH’S® Beans and features four key categories of chili: Traditional Red, Verde, Homestyle and Veggie. While teams fire up their stoves to win the event’s $100,000 prize purse, attendees will get to see the wacky, enthusiastic and colorful side of chili competitors, affectionately referred to as “chiliheads.”

But that’s not all. For those who love to eat chili — and discover the different varieties that exist — there will be numerous unique experiences, such as a Certified Chili Judge class, where you will learn how to judge professional chili; chili tastings tickets; cooking demonstrations; and a special VIP experience, which you could win for free by entering the Travel Sweepstakes!

To learn how to enter the competition or judge the entries, simply follow the International Chili Society on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (@ICSChili). To learn more about the event itself, follow the World Championship Chili Cook-off on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
