Holiday craft fair showcases local, residential artisans

November 18, 2015

GREENVILLE, SC – The Woodlands at Furman will transform into a holiday market on Friday, November 20, as 42 vendors kick off the holiday shopping season for residents and the surrounding community at the fifth annual Holiday Craft Fair.

Visitors will be able to shop between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Vendors will be set up inside the main entrance of the Woodlands at Furman, located at 1500 Trailhead Court, Greenville, SC 29617.

This year’s list of vendors includes staff and residents, as well as local vendors from throughout the Greenville area. Items for sale include a wide variety of Christmas ornaments, home décor, candles, and other gifts.

“We have many talented residents at the Woodlands, and we’re always looking for ways to engage them with the community,” said Andrea Payment, lifestyle director. “The holiday craft fair gives our residents a chance to share their talents with a wider audience.”

The holiday craft fair is the first of several holiday events that the Woodlands will host this season for the Greenville community. The Festival of Trees, another annual event featuring 40 decorated trees throughout the Woodlands campus, will take place during the second week of December.
