Home Works welcomes Roy Kramer to team

Home Works announces the addition of Roy Kramer to its ministry team headquartered in Columbia. Roy will serve as a Project Manager for home repair efforts around the Midlands region, providing technical expertise and guidance for a variety of home repair efforts for homeowners in need. He will also guide volunteers as they complete repairs and will lead special projects such as home modifications for Veteran and disabled homeowners, development, and volunteer site leader recruitment.

Roy brings a wealth of experience and care to his role with Home Works, having previously served at Central South Carolina Habitat of Humanity for 27 years, 17 as Executive Director.

“We are excited and certainly blessed for Roy to join the Home Works family,” said Joe Huggins, Executive Director of Home Works. “He brings a heart for Christ centered ministry, home repairs, and the City of Columbia and we are grateful to have him play a role in bringing compassionate construction to those who need it most.”

 

Home Works is headquartered in Columbia and has served South Carolina since 1996, providing free home repairs to qualified low income elderly, disabled and veteran homeowners. These crucial home modifications are provided thanks to the time and energy of on average 1,100 student and adult volunteers each year.
