Homeless No More, the Midlands’ leading nonprofit working to end family homelessness, welcomed a new Executive Committee and two new board members at their December board meeting.

Homeless No More’s board chair is David Kirkpatrick, Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager of South State Bank. The Vice Chair is Marti Bluestein, Partner at Bluestein Attorneys. Kimberly Snipes, Community and Special Projects Director at South Carolina Bar, remains the Secretary, and Joe Wilczewski, executive director of the Boyd Foundation, returns as Treasurer.

Alia Bostaji and Connelly-Anne Ragley were welcomed as new board members. Alia serves as Hotel Investment Sales Specialist at Colliers International.

“Participating in Homeless No More offers me a chance to actively enhance the community by engaging in strategic planning and execution,” Alia said. “Collaboratively, we strive for sustainable resolutions to address homelessness, aiming to create a lasting positive influence. Witnessing the tangible impact on lives through our efforts is immensely gratifying.”

Also joining the board is Connelly-Anne Ragley, Chief External Affairs Officer at S.C. Department of Social Services.

“Having a stable, safe living environment for families in our community must be a top priority to improve outcomes for children,” Connelly-Anne said. “Homeless children are more likely to suffer from hunger, poor physical and emotional health, and many families face splitting up just to obtain services. Homeless No More works with the entire family, including dads and older boys, to create lasting change and provide long term solutions to place families on a path to independence. The volunteers and staff live this mission every day at Homeless No More, and I am thankful to serve this organization and its clients by joining the Board of Directors as a volunteer to continue this all important, hands-on work.”
