Honoring the best in business in South Carolina while inspiring future leaders

March 1, 2016

On Thursday, March 3rd, Junior Achievement of South Carolina will hold its 32nd annual Hall of Fame – an event created to honor South Carolina’s business leaders who are champions of free enterprise and who can be viewed as role models in business for the youth of the Palmetto state.

This year, three business people who have inspired the next generation of leaders will be inducted as Laurates to the 2016 Hall of Fame:

  • Robert H. Chapman, III, Inman Mills (Inman)
  • William B. Cox, Cox Industries (Orangeburg)
  • Anita G. Zucker, The Intertech Group, Inc. (Charleston)

This sold-out event will be held at the Columbia Marriott (1200 Hampton Street) at 6:00pm. Attendees will include past Hall of Fame Laureates, business leaders from across the state as well as Junior Achievement students who will share their experiences of how JA has taught them how to succeed in the global economy.

For the past 50 years, with the support of donors and volunteers, Junior Achievement has been able to provide programming for students K-12th grade which has helped to create a workforce that is financially literate and understanding of the basics of business.
