Chosen from members in 12 chapters throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia, the NAWIC Member of the Year – South Atlantic Award recognizes the outstanding efforts of one of its members who has been actively involved over the previous year. Based in Fort Worth, TX, NAWIC provides its members with opportunities for professional development, education, networking, leadership training, public service, and more. Amanda has been involved in NAWIC for the past three years, and has served on the board of NAWIC’s Columbia chapter for the past two years. This past year, Amanda also served as Golf Tournament chair, where the chapter was able to raise over $24,0000 toward the Chapter’s scholarship funds. This effort, paired with the Chapter’s NAWIC Night, raised over $28,000 in total.

“I am honored to have received this award, especially since I was nominated by my peers within NAWIC. We are part of a wonderful organization which does incredible things for those in our industry, and I am so proud to be a part of it,” said Amanda.
