Host a book drive to support the Really Good, Really Big, Really Cheap Book sale

May 25, 2022

Greenville Literacy Association (GLA) is seeking partners to host a book drive in support of the Really Good, Really Big, Really Cheap Book sale.  Businesses, community groups, churches, and others are asked to promote and collect gently used books between now and July 15, 2022. The books are carefully processed, and sorted by dedicated volunteers and prepared for the sale to be held at McAlister Square in Greenville on August 12-14.  Individuals can drop off their donations at Greenville Literacy Center at 225 S. Pleasantburg Drive by using one of two book drop boxes.

The annual sale draws thousands of book lovers from across the county, region, and state. It is an important awareness and fundraising event to support programs in adult literacy and education.

To host a book drive, please contact Ellen Lane at [email protected].  To drop off your personal book donations please see: https://www.greenvilleliteracy.org/book-donations/
