Housing Surge to work with NOAH Property Management
May 28, 2025NOAH Property Management will be at the forefront of a community effort to help homeless neighbors find more permanent affordable housing.
NOAH Property Management will be partnering with Greenville Together and Triune Mercy Center to provide at least five rental units at Vista West I for the next two years as part of the first wave of Greenville Together’s Housing Surge project.
“We were first approached about this project in March and have been working non-stop to make it happen for the past two months,” said Matt Foster, CEO of NOAH Property Management, which provides services to 23 communities across the region. “This is just the start, and we hope to be able to increase the number of units in the future.”
Greenville Together’s Housing Surge, which is coordinated through Triune Mercy Center, aims to rapidly rehouse those experiencing unsheltered homelessness, with a goal of rehousing 80 households by the end of 2025. As the Housing Surge Lead Provider, Triune Mercy Center is working to develop a comprehensive training and onboarding process to ensure our team and community partners are fully prepared to engage meaningfully with participants.
“Greenville Together envisions achieving ‘functional zero’ for unsheltered homelessness—a milestone that ensures systems are in place to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring,” said Cody Carver, Director of Greenville Together. “We know, unfortunately, that people will always face homelessness. Our mission is to guarantee that those who do will be quickly rehoused, and prevention systems will reduce the likelihood of it happening again.”
According to Greenville Together data, 75% of extremely low-income renters spend more than half of their income on housing in Greenville County. This puts many families at risk of losing their homes even when they have jobs.”
“The NOAH Property Management team is excited to be part of this effort to help end chronic homelessness in the communities we serve,” Foster said.
