Howe Hall Arts Infused Magnet School (AIMS) is now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 academic year. Applications must be postmarked by Friday, April 1, 2016.

Parents interested in completing an application or who would like more information about Howe Hall AIMS’ lottery system and enrollment guidelines should visit the school’s website at http://www.bcsdschools.net/Domain/31.

Howe Hall AIMS is a public magnet school that serves 420 Kindergarten through fifth grade students. The school’s mission is to include the arts as an essential component of the curriculum to optimize student achievement through a variety of learning experiences that facilitate the development of students as lifelong learners and productive citizens. In addition to the core academic subjects, the AIMS philosophy includes standards-based instruction in dance, drama, music, visual art, physical education, and Spanish. Students have the opportunity to experience the arts through co-taught Infusion lessons, exploratory classes and arts integration in their core subjects.

Principal of Howe Hall AIMS, Chris Swetckie, said, “We are very proud of the program we offer to Berkeley County families and the incredible accomplishments of our students in academics and the arts. We are always humbled by the overwhelming response we receive to the lottery each year and look forward to this year’s lottery so we can welcome a new group of students to our school family.”

Howe Hall AIMS will be hosting a school information night next Tuesday, February 2nd at 6:30 PM to answer any questions about the school or the lottery process.
