Hoyt Hanvey Jewelers Reopens in Renovated Downtown Space on the Square
April 30, 2025Returning to its original Musgrove Street location, Clinton jeweler unveils refreshed showroom following 2024 downtown fire
After nearly a year of perseverance, renovation, and community support, Hoyt Hanvey Jewelers has officially returned to its original location on the Square in downtown Clinton. The family-owned jewelry store, a longstanding staple at 126 Musgrove Street, was displaced by the devastating fire that swept through the heart of Clinton on August 27, 2024.
Now fully restored and open for business Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the store welcomes customers back to a completely transformed space. The renovation includes new lighting, flooring, shelving, and custom build-outs, as well as brand-new display cases and a refreshed inventory featuring gift merchandise, clocks, jewelry boxes, and more.
“We’re thrilled to be back home,” said Kim Epting of Hoyt Hanvey Jewelers. “This space holds so much history for our family and our customers. While the fire was a heartbreaking setback, the love and encouragement we received from the community helped carry us through. We are so grateful to everyone who continued to support us while we were in the temporary location just down the street.”
The team at Hoyt Hanvey Jewelers is planning a grand re-opening celebration in the coming weeks. More details will be announced soon, and the community is encouraged to stay tuned.
With a renewed space and the same commitment to quality and service, Hoyt Hanvey Jewelers is ready to help customers mark life’s special moments once again — right where it all began.
