Local environmental engineering firm expands office with McDonnell and Culleton hires

 

HRP Associates Inc. (HRP), an environmental engineering and hydrogeology firm in Greenville, announces the hiring of Dan McDonnell as a senior project manager of hydrogeology and Stephen Culleton as a project engineer.

To accommodate the continued growth of the company, HRP recently added additional office space to its Greenville location on Miller Road. HRP is a 135-person, $28M environmental engineering risk management consulting firm with eight offices.

As senior project manager, McConnell’s responsibilities will include technical support and project management on complex hydrogeological investigations including Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), ground water monitoring programs, remedial investigations and feasibility studies associated with soil, ground water, and surface water contaminated sites. McConnell will also work on government RCRA and CERCLA projects and communication with regulatory agencies.

As a project engineer, Culleton’s responsibilities will include the technical support of projects with a focus on environmental and OSHA health and safety compliance. Other areas of expertise will be in the area of job hazard analysis, spill control plans, storm water management, air permitting, and hazardous waste management.

McDonnell is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where he received a Master’s of Science degree in Geology. He is a registered Professional Geologist in South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee and is also a Registered Site Manager in the North Carolina REC Inactive Hazardous Waste Sites Program.

Culleton is a graduate of Clemson University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering. He is an active member of the South Carolina Army National Guard and maintains DoD Security Clearance.
