Avenue’s design is a playful sensibility in a sophisticated penthouse setting with a harmonious blend of warm wood tones and textures and cool steel accents. Boasting panoramic views across the downtown cityscape to the Blue Ridge Mountains, Avenue will celebrate its cosmopolitan context with a smart, fresh and relevant aesthetic. Avenue’s terrace will embrace guests in a green oasis against the backdrop of downtown’s brick, concrete and glass skyline. The outdoor gathering spot will offer free-flowing and flexible space in a rooftop garden atmosphere feeling both formal and easy-going in its selection of plantings, furnishings and textures.

Rick Erwin’s Events, the catering division of Rick Erwin Dining Group, will manage all food service and catering needs with a dedicated culinary and event management team on site, including a general manager and corporate chef. They will provide a variety of menu selections including offerings from some of the group’s esteemed restaurants including the West End Grille and Nantucket Seafood.

“We are very excited for the launch of Avenue and partnership with Rick Erwin Dining Group to provide downtown Greenville with an incomparable event space,” said Jackson Hughes, president of Hughes Commercial. “Our goal for Avenue is to create one-of-a-kind experiences for everyone, whether the host or guest of the of each event. Together with Keith Summerour’s brilliant architectural vision and Rick Erwin’s reputation of culinary excellence, I am confident that Avenue will deliver on that promise.”

“Rick Erwin Dining Group is fortunate for the opportunity to join Jackson Hughes and his team to open the premier event space in downtown Greenville, the first endeavor of this kind for our company,” said Rick Erwin, founder and owner of Rick Erwin Dining Group. “From the exceptional views of downtown Greenville to a catering event team dedicated to creating an unmatched guest experience, Avenue is going to be a venue that the Greenville community will be extremely proud to claim.”

110 East Court Street is a focal point of the North of Broad district, a vibrant mixed-use zone that provides a new walkable thoroughfare from Main Street and Broad Street to McBee Avenue.  Tenants in the 125,000-square-foot mixed-use building include Cherry Bekaert, Parker Poe and Hughes Commercial and will soon include Erwin Penland and others.
