Hunger relief provided for Georgetown County residents through Sporting Clays fundraiser shoot

Helping Hands of Georgetown County to host event on August 24

Whether a pro or a novice, Helping Hands of Georgetown County invites area residents to participate in its “Sporting Clays Fundraiser Shoot” to be held on Saturday, August 24 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Back Woods Quail Club.

Sharpen your hunting skills for deer season while doing your part to help alleviate the hunger epidemic in Georgetown County. Register online today at HHClayShoot.com. The $75 event ticket includes a round of 50 Sporting Clays and lunch. Each ticket purchased will provide meals for a family of four. Shooters are responsible for their own ammunition, eye, and ear protection.

“This Clay Shoot is an entertaining way you can be the righteous Samaritan and help your neighbor,” said Dick Rose, Board President of Helping Hands of Georgetown County. “At Helping Hands, we offer a hand-up to the 12,000 people living in poverty right here in Georgetown County.”
