Ian Duggan named as member at Callison Tighe & Robinson

Ian Duggan is the newest member in the law firm of Callison Tighe & Robinson.

Mr. Duggan is an experienced trial lawyer whose practice focuses on complex litigation. He is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in South Carolina.

Mr. Duggan is originally from Virginia, but now considers South Carolina home. He came to the state to attend Furman University, from which he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history in 2007. He received his juris doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2010.

Much of his practice is devoted to complex commercial litigation and white-collar criminal matters. He also practices in the area of Whistleblower & False Claims, helping whistleblowers uncover and address fraud in government contracting and procurement.

Before joining Callison Tighe in 2017, Mr. Duggan was an officer in the U.S. Air Force. Serving tours of duty as a judge advocate in Afghanistan, Turkey and Qatar, he was recognized as one of the top trial advocates in the Air Force and prosecuted and defended some of the service’s highest-profile criminal cases. In 2019, he became a member of the South Carolina Air National Guard, where he presently serves as a judge advocate for the 169th Fighter Wing at McEntire Joint National Guard Base. He continues to defend soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines in courts-martial and military adverse administrative actions.

Callison Tighe was one of 15 companies across the country that received the 2019 Freedom Award given by the Defense Department’s Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. The firm received the recognition after being nominated by Mr. Duggan.
