iMAGINE Upstate STEAM Festival to postpone event until September

March 12, 2020

iMAGINE Upstate STEAM Festival fueled by ScanSource will postpone its event from April 4, 2020 to September 12, 2020. The decision was made in response to the growing number of travel restrictions aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus, which directly impacts participation from its festival partners.

“The postponement of iMAGINE Upstate was a difficult decision made in conjunction with City of Greenville officials,” said Hannah Halusker, Director of iMAGINE Upstate & Upstate SC STEM Collaborative. “iMAGINE Upstate strives to provide the best festival experience for attendees, and this is no longer possible without the participation of our national partners.”

iMAGINE Upstate STEAM Festival brings over 75 interactive exhibits and shows emphasizing science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) to downtown Greenville. Now in its 6th year, the free festival engages pre-K through 12th grade students in hands-on learning experiences facilitated by local corporations, schools and nonprofit organizations.
