Indorama Ventures donation supports communities in Spartanburg, SC & Charlotte, NC

Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited (IVL), a global chemical producer, has been supporting its companies operating in 33 countries across the world to act as a helping hand for surrounding communities during the COVID-19 crisis. Indorama Ventures has set aside 2.5 million dollars to fund projects in local communities around the world that are suffering due to COVID-19. As part of this funding, Auriga Polymers, a subsidiary of Indorama Ventures, recently donated US$40,000 to the COVID-19 Relief Fund of United Way of the Piedmont, a non-profit organization aimed at supporting those charities and communities that are most in need. This fund is expected to help thousands relying on the organization’s Community Resource Coordinators who provide direct assistance and support during these difficult times. In addition, Employees from Auriga Polymers & Huvis Indorama Advanced Materials in Spartanburg and Charlotte have committed to donate $75,000 over the next year to the United Way.

Mr. Avnish Madan, VP Operations at Auriga Polymers, a subsidiary of Indorama Ventures, said, “Everyone has been impacted in some way by this pandemic. We believe the United Way is in a good position to evaluate and determine the greatest needs of the community.
